Robert Kiyosaki is PHENOMENAL!! Author of the #1 NY Times Bestseller, Rich Dad Poor Dad, he is one of the greatest success coaches of ALL TIME.
Blessed with the ability to simplify even the most complex financial information, Kiyosaki's works are practical, easy to understand and incredibly informative.
Robert T. Kiyosaki is an author, a trainer, a business owner and an investor. Born and raised in Hawaii, Kiyosaki had "two fathers".
His biological father was very intelligent and highly educated; he completed his PhD and attended some of the most prestigious schools including Stanford University, University of Chicago and Northwestern University for advanced studies, "all on full financial scholoarships"1. He went on to become the head of education for the state of Hawaii.
Kiyosaki's "other father", did not have a university or even high school education, for that matter. According to Kiyosaki, he "never finished the eight grade."2 Despite his lack of formal education Kiyosaki's "other father" was also very successful.
Different types of Education
The difference between his two fathers was that one believed formal education was the corner stone of success; his mentality was one of "go to school, study hard and get a good job. " The other father also believed in education, but not just formal education. He believed in personal financial education, building businesses and investing.
"Take responsibility for your finances or take orders all your life. You're either a master of money or a slave to it". - Robert Kiyosaki
"Both earned substantial incomes. Yet one struggled financially all his life, the other would become one of the richest men in Hawaii. One died leaving tens of millions of dollars to his family, charities and his church. The other left bills to be paid."3
Despite his tremendous education and powerful position, Kiyosaki's real dad was the one that struggled financially and eventually became his "poor dad". Robert's "rich dad" was one who lacked formal education, but invested heavily in his own financial education. He achieved true financial freedom and was able to pass his great wealth down through generations.
Kiyosaki grew up in the unique position where he had the opportunity to listen to both of his "dads" opposing views on careers, money, business and success. He was able to contrast his rich and poor dads' life strategies. He chose to follow his rich dad's advice, and this ultimately allowed Robert Kiyosaki to become a self-made multi-millionaire.
Kiyosaki's path to financial freedom was not always a smooth one, after serving in Vietnam for the US Marines as a Helicopter gunship pilot, he returned to Hawaii to start his own business of producing the first Nylon and Velcro (surfer wallets). The business grew into multi-million dollar business world wide, but unfortunately for Kiyosaki, the business "crashed" just as quickly. Things got so bad for Robert Kiyosaki that at one point he and his wife were literally homeless.
A Robert Kiyosaki Experience
Robert Kiyosaki and his wife Kim, were once homeless for several weeks. During this time, they lived in their car, and when a close friend realized their desperate situation, she offered them a room in her basement. There they lived for nine months... Four year later, they were millionaires...

Using the principals his Rich Dad had taught him throughout his life, Kiyosaki founded a new business that is focused on passing Rich Dad's invaluable lessons of money, success and financial freedom to people all over the world.

To help teach people the intricacies of financial statements Kiyosaki created a board game called Cashflow 101 (click for more info) and Cahsflow 202 (click for more info) the more advanced version of the game are designed to teach people about there finances in a non-threatening environment.
Cashflow 101 has been so well received that there are groups of well over 250 people that meet to play the online version of the game, many feel that the game gives them the tools to help them gain true wealth above and beyond their 9 to 5 jobs.
The impact of Kiyosaki's works have been so profound that he recently released a book entitled Rich Dad' s Success Stories (click for more info), a Wall Street Journal Bestseller, which chronicles the tremendous impact his works have had on peoples lives.
