ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Phillip Lechter is currently the Chief Communications Officer for The Rich Dad Company. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

In 1997 Phillip sat down with his mother’s business partner, Robert Kiyosaki. Robert offered Phillip the challenge of learning to manage time, money and people; to take a job upon graduation where he would learn the skills he needed to manage instead of the job that would pay the highest salary. With these skills he would be well on his way to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Phillip accepted Robert’s challenge and from 1997 to 2000 he worked various sales, management and marketing positions. His experience includes managing a janitorial service, and working for E & J Gallo Wine. In addition, he worked for a lease finance company where he further expanded his sales abilities by soliciting financing over the phone and was later responsible for building and training a sales team that tripled the company’s revenues.

In the Fall of 2000, Phillip came on board for the Rich Dad Company. Over the years his responsibilities have grown; now, as Chief Communications Officer, Phillip oversees PR, direct marketing, customer acquisition, messaging, branding and Rich Dad’s coaching and seminar divisions.
