Feb 1, 2004 - A recent article by the New York Times, entitled "The Rising Value of Play Money", reports that the Cashflow Boardgames, introduced by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter in 1996, is gaining tremendous popularity and success worldwide.

The aim of the games is to help individuals and families better manage their finances and make their money work for them, instead of working for their money. The games have sold over 300,000 copies worldwide, and have helped several people acheive financial freedom.

There are several groups of people who get together regularly to play the games, including many who have quit their jobs, started thier own businesses, learned to invest, and are planning for early retirement. According to the NY Times, New York City is home to one of the largest Cashflow groups, with over 270 members.

CNN/Money article features CASHFLOW game!
"Aspiring tycoons around the world are playing the market with Robert Kiyosaki," writes Sarah Max, CNN/Money senior writer. Max played the game for the first time with a local CASHFLOW 101 club and writes about learning the fundamental lessons of investing. "Driving home that night," Max writes, "I did feel richer, more optimistic and more open-minded. I read Kiyosaki's book cover to cover."

How to Play the Game
The main objective for players in the Cashflow Games is to get out of the Rat Race and on to the Fast Track. The game mimics real life, as players have to deal with normal expenses, such as supporting a family and taking care of bills. At the same time, players can take advantage of business and investing opportunities to help them get on to the Fast Track.

The first player to reach his or her financial dream is the winner.

Cashflow Testimonials

I bought this game 2 years ago as a gift for my husband's birthday. I thought about it for about a month before purchasing because it seemed so expensive, but I had read all the books and really liked the concepts. Since I bought it, we have played the game probably 20 times with friends and family and have completely changed our financial lifestyle. I think this is a must-have for anyone that wants to improve their financial life!

This game is so awesome! We love playing it because, unlike Monopoly, everyone can get rich in this game. We once played for over 6 hours straight. Even our teenage boys and their friends liked it. And it teaches you how to keep a financial statement. I highly recommend this game.
