    Rich Dad Poor Dad (Review)
    By Robert Kiyosaki

Here's one book you should read at least once a year... a must-read for all seeking financial freedom!

Review by Juliana Blackett. Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, the The New York Times #1 Bestseller, is changing how the world views money by changing your context to that of a rich person. I imagine that most people have heard of Robert Kiyosaki by now, but I've come across many who still have not read any of his books.

Rich Dad Poor Dad #2 on USA Today Business Best Seller List for 2003!

I say this in all honesty: Rich Dad, Poor Dad is one of the best books I have ever read. When I finished reading it the first time, I knew everything he was saying was the truth. For me, this is where my journey to financial freedom began to take shape. If you too are looking for financial freedom, then Rich Dad Poor Dad is a great place to start your learning process.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a modern day classic that will:
    • Explode the myth that you need to earn a high income to become rich

    • Challenge the belief that your house is an asset

    • Show parents why they can't rely on school systems to teach their kids about money

    • Define once and for all an asset and a liability

    • Teach you what to teach your kids about money for their future financial success

    • And much, much more…

First of all, you willl find that Robert Kiyosaki's casual writing style makes the book easy to read and a pleasure to read. You'll find it's one of those books that is really hard to put down once you start reading.

I myself grew up with the idea that in order to get rich or be a successful person, I had to go to school, get a good education, and then get a nice high-paying job, work for a few years, then retire rich and happy, and live life happily ever after.

The brute realtiy is that job security does not exist, there is no guarantee that your boss will promote you or even let you keep your job. What assurance do you have that your retirement savings plan will not be completely wiped out by fraudulent or incompetent companies and money managers, or even a stock market crash? None, whatsoever.

Look around you? Many people look like they're wealthy (or try to look wealthy) by living on mounds of credit and/or depending on their paychecks to cover their monthly expenses. But are they really wealthy and financially free? Are YOU really wealthy and financially free?

In Rich Dad Poor Dad, Kiyosaki forces us to ask ourselves the question:

If I stopped working today, or worse, if I were forced to stop working today, could I (or long could I) continue to live my current lifestyle and survive?

If for you the answer is:

    • No; or
    • Yes, but not for too long,

then, Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a must-read for you. It teaches you how you have to think of money in order to make your money work for you, instead of having to work for your money. A brilliant book overall!
